How to calculate your kWh cost
From our research, you'll usually be able to find the kilowatt-hour of a dishwasher in the product specification. If you'd still prefer to calculate it yourself, simply multiply your appliance's wattage by the number of hours it's used each day. Divide that total by 1000 to get the dishwasher's daily kilowatt-hour.
The cost per kWh can change depending on what your energy tariff is and where you live. If you have a smart meter, you'll also be able to see the cost per use when your dishwasher is running.
How to shop safely online
